Fish O Chips

Popped in on way to the ferry back to Vancouver - lovely fish and chips - well cooked flaky and great value. Have to shout out the tartar sauce and coleslaw as both very good, as was the crab cake. Super friendly service - recommended if you passing that way :-)

Best fish and chips I've had in the Capital region. Unlike the thick beer batter of most places this batter was so thin it reminded me of breading. So we could enjoy the fish instead of the starch. Fresh thick cut fries were a nice accompaniment. Race rocks beer made a perfect companion.

We decided to go for a drive to Sydney. We got kind of hungry, so we obviously needed to find a nice and interesting place to eat some great food at. This fish and chip place was amazing. I personally haven't had fish that had such a light batter that wasn't too oily. They really know what they are doing here. Tartar sauce and coleslaw were also extremely well done. Also, I highly recommend the crab cakes as well, so tasty. They have quite a few seats, as there is both inside and outside seating. The patio is very well done and also covered for the rain and sun. Service was excellent and very fast. Restaurant is in a cute residential neighborhood attached to an old schoolish corner store. So cute. Thank you.

I absolutely love this warm and inviting quaint establishment. The fish was absolutely amazing. The service was incredible. Everything was super fresh. The portions were a 10. My To go order was prompt and perfect. The salad was great. For such an enjoyable experience located in a quiet part of Sidney I'll definitely be back to enjoy the beautiful restaurant, outdoor patio or grab a delicious bite to enjoy at the beach. The portions were substantial. The crab cakes were delicious. All real crab! They also stay open a little later than some other fish n chip places. I would and have recommended this gem to my family and friends. Tuesday the portions were larger for no additional charge.

The food was great, the fish was so fresh. The portions were huge The service was fast and attentive but not too attentive. I loved the decor, kinda what you would expect a little fish and chips place to be. We had the 9 piece family dinner, and it fed six of us NP, 2 of which were teenage boys.

Cute spot for a nice fish and chips dinner! My friend and I had the halibut, and it was delicious! They also have some great local beer - I had the Race Rocks Amber Ale and it was fantastic! Very friendly staff!

I am blown away by everything here. Location, quality, taste, service and outdoor seating especially in the summer. Massive portions that no one will leave hungry. Lovely service by Erin. Words can not express how great this place is. Best fish and chips ever
